Pauline Sevitz is a qualified Social Worker with diverse and extensive experience, including all areas of life transitions, bereavement, divorce and relationship issues.
For the past 15 years Pauline was the Founding Director of Nechama a volunteer based bereavement counselling organization.
After leaving Nechama she concentrated on building up her private practice as a social worker specializing in marriage counselling, bereavement counselling and trauma counselling as well as individual therapy.
In addition to running her private Pauline is also Counselling Manager at FAMSA (WC) where she is responsible for counselling , clinical supervision and assists on the training team by facilitating training courses such as bereavement counselling and divorce counselling.
Pauline particularly enjoys working with couples using the Prepare- Enrich programme.
Pauline feels privileged to have had so many years of experience in a variety of fields and is passionate about sharing the skills she has learnt and developed over many and is still excited about learning new and different approaches and keeping up with current thinking
Pauline also provides psychological input to Professionals and Corporates through workshops and group counselling on a variety of issues. She welcomes therapy referrals and offers a private, caring and confidential space to her clients.
